Gareth has been in the manufacturing industry for 16 years having started his industrial life as a apprentice Maintenance technician, Gareth quickly rose through the ranks and moved into change management and then into production management.
During the early period of his time in production management Gareth managed to achieve production records in high volume, high speed manufacturing industries. Gareth completed his degree in 2002 from Liverpool John Moores. He joined Unilever in 2006 as an Engineering leader, Unilever recognised Gareth’s change management qualities and he was seconded to be an internal change consultant.
Impressive results in this change role led to Gareth’s promotion into the Engineering Managers role in 2007.
Gareth will present a case study on how he managed to change the culture within a large organisation and build high performance teams that continue to add value time and again. His case study will form the basis of the seminar which will be expanded by the other speakers on the day.
